Choosing to have gastric bypass surgery with Dr. Rumbaut was the best decision I’ve ever made. I’ve been overweight all my life and like most overweight people, I’ve tried too many diets to count and have failed at all of them.  At age 28 the weight was starting to catch up to me health wise and I decided to finally make the choice to take control of it.  I had my surgery August 8, 2007 and now almost one year later I’ve lost 110 lbs and I’m at my goal weight.   I knew that the surgery and the resulting weight loss would improve my health and extend my life but it was another benefit that came as the best surprise.  It’s hard to describe but the best I can do is say that I feel confident, sexy and amazing….I love being me now.  Regaining my health is the reason I had the surgery but feeling like I can go out and do anything with confidence has changed my life even more.  Dr. Rumbaut and his team have changed my life and I can never say thank you enough to them.
